Als Begleiter in „The Work of Byron Katie“ …
- … halte ich den Raum mit den vier Fragen und Umkehrungen, und verwende die Fragen effektiv und angemessen.
- … höre ich authentisch auf die Gedanken, verletzlich und achtsam mit meinen Klienten und mir selbst.
- … weiss, dass jede Person, die zu mir kommt weise ist, und ihre eigenen Antworten finden wird, welche wahr für sie sind.
- … bringe ich meinen Klienten und mich selbst jederzeit zurück zum Glaubenssatz, wenn sie (oder ich) von den Fragen abweichen. Ich erinnere uns daran, dass die „Work“ stoppt, wenn sie (oder ich) in Begründung („weil“), Rechtfertigung („aber“) oder Verteidigung flüchten.
- … halte ich mich zurück, die Work meines Klienten durch Belehren, Bedrängen, Abweichen von den 4 Fragen und Umkehrungen, durch Ratschlag und Therapie, zu stören.
- … arbeite ich mit meinen eigenen Gedanken wann immer ich kann mit mir selbst oder einem Begleiter.
- … diene ich mir selbst, durch das Teilen der Work mit anderen.

- hold the space with the four questions and turnarounds, and use the questions effectively and appropriately.
- listen authentically to the thoughts, vulnerability, and self-awareness of my client and of myself.
- know that each person who comes to me is wise, and will find their own answers, the ones that are true for them.
- bring my client and myself back to the one-liner any time they (or I) wander away from the questions, and to remind us that The Work stops working any time they or I move into “because,” “but,” justification, or defense.
- refrain from interfering with my client’s Work by teaching, pushing, or moving away from the four questions and turnarounds through advice or therapy.
- work with my own thoughts whenever I possibly can, by myself and/or with a facilitator.
- serve myself by sharing The Work with others.
